Q. Why should I apply to work for LiFE Residential?

A. We’d like to think we’re not your typical estate agent. Our goal is to stand out from the stereotype of agents being corporate, boring, unreliable and untrustworthy. Unlike most agencies, we don’t talk about money a lot; we focus on the exceptional service we deliver to our clients and we strive to exceed their and our expectations every single time.

Q. What does it take to become a LiFEr?

A. All of our staff live by our core values - Transparency, Humility, Respect, Trust, Empowerment and Integrity - along with being driven and ambitious!

Q. Is there room for progression?

A. Absolutely! When we say ‘LiFE is what you make of it’, we truly mean it.

Majority of LiFErs, who have been in the company for longest, have actually started their careers in the business as trainees, and some of them – in different roles than what they are doing now. And they’ve excelled all the way throughout. We are very fortunate that our trusted partnerships continue to fuel our business growth, which means opportunities in the company are endless.

Q. Do I need to have previous experience in the industry to work at LiFE?

A. Some of our positions do require relevant experience within the property industry, which will be mentioned in the job listing.

But we also do hire people from outside of the industry, and without any experience. A lot of LiFErs have come from hospitality or retail background, so don’t worry if you are not a property expert, we can help you become one.

Q. Will training be provided?

A. Training is provided for all the roles in the company. We also fund your Propertymark (NFoPP) qualification in lettings and sales, which is a standard accredited qualification in the industry. We like to hold ourselves to the highest professional standards to ensure the highest service provided, so almost every LiFEr is qualified.

Q. How should I prepare for an interview?

A. When we meet you for an interview, we immediately imagine if you could join us. It is important for us that all LiFErs keep to the company dress code, so all interviewees should be dressed formally. We also put a lot of preparation in meeting you and getting to know even before you come to LiFE, so we’d expect you’ve also researched us and got to know what LiFE is all about. But most importantly, we want to get to meet the real you, so just be yourself! We look forward to meeting you!
